My muscles hurt a lot lately...reduced my statin intake and seems to be helping. Guess I will have a heart attack but at least I can walk.

100% now thank GOD. Two years now perfect. What I did was just keep working through all discomfort/pain till exhausted & gradually OK.

Muscle aches? The effect muscles and nerves can be debilitating. Statins laid me up for two years - SERIOUS. POSSIBLY QUITE DANGEROUS.

If I remember correctly, statins use has not been linked to lower heart attacks, so why even take them?
