        Many pkgs on that US PS truck the author refers to got there: shipper → UPS→ US PS plane → UPS → US PS mail carrier. By US PS-UPS contract.

        Amazon pre-sorts their packages to make it easier for usps. Less hours = lesser rate.

        The tracks are not gov owned but owned by companies The gov doesnt own Amtrak it is its largest shareholder giving gov controlling interest
