Good job, measurements such as this are important as everything comes with pros and cons. 250k jobs seems a good deal for 20M more insured

$70k/yr cost for a business with 49 people is going to stop them from hiring #50? You hire because it brings in profits to offset the cost.
-
Exactly. If you can't foresee making back the investment in more hires, you don't hire. $70K is more than a year's profit to some businesses

Drop 15 million from health insurance rolls, see how many jobs are lost.

Just so that I have it right: 250,000 jobs lost since
#Obamacare implementation? That is ONE month of job creation under Obama's tenure!! -
You mean part-time job creation. Too many people can't get full-time work because Obamacare discourages full-time employment.
-
Can you cite a credible study that backs your claim? I am on Boards of 3 businesses of varying sizes, and advise many others. 1/
-
Not a single one hires temps "because O'care discourages full-time employees". Businesses hire temps only when demand is not steady 2/
-
enough to justify hiring a full-time employee. Costs of hiring and training a temp are not trivial. Businesses I know would prefer 3/
-
to hire full time employees if demand can justify, as it ensures less mistakes, higher productivity and better overall morale at workplace.
-
How advanced your management teams appear to be compared with GMs & dba's who only care about cheap unskilled labor.
