Not at all. It's just called being a gentleman and showing your woman that you can provide. Men cry way too much these days. 🙄

But woman want to be treated as equal and be independent. So if that's the case they can pay the other half. It's really not that hard.

I know women who have gone on multiple dates (same day even) just to get free meals. One said "I have my meals bought 3 or 4 times / week"

But statistically those are the minority and you can't go into every date expecting the minority.

No contest there. Also the experience is regionalized. LA dating scene completely shittier than say, Denver.

If only we could all just meet our soulmates in the juice section at Whole Foods, organically (pun intended).

lol yes I have tried that as well. Everyone is married it seems, or maybe that's just my perceptual bias.

What has happened to me in the past is the guy says: "you get this one and I'll get the next one." Guess how often there's a "next one."

It's pretty simple. If you initiate, you pay -- unless you explicitly state otherwise ("tickets are $30). #adulting http://www.thehappytalent.com/blog/finally-a-definitive-way-to-know-who-pays-for-the-date …

The man should reach for the bill and ask "may I" Then the woman can insist that she pay if she wishes or offer to split.

It's fine if that's your expectation, but you need to be explicit about it. "Let's go out. I'll pay, but then you have to put out."
