A billon dollar ship and it hit something, how is this possible?
-
-
-
Something hit it.
-
I don't understand. Did radar fail?
-
It's hard for a big ship to dodge
-
A merchant ship is the size of the Empire State Building (or bigger). Both ships should have SEEN the other miles away. Literally.
-
Unless the collision happened at night, or in bad weather (low visibility).
-
In which case, the sonar, radar, and collision avoidance system of the Destroyer should have alerted someone. The story doesnt add up.
-
It doesn't add up AT ALL. Those sailors, RIP.
