        There was a reason Spain fought for 772 years to get rid of them. Guests shouldn't be making demands. Chances are it was originally Catholic

        The article did mention when the Muslims took over for a few years, they built on top of an older Christian church.

        It was originally Catholic. The old church was renovated for Islam but then got changed back to Catholic.
