UK banned handguns in 1997....wouldn't it make more sense to shoot a terrorist trying to cut your throat than throw a chair as they did

Enough is enough of UK sponsoring of Political Islam Fascism. If you are serious go deport all those terrorists who found safe haven in UK

Reducing terrorists to resorting to knives instead of guns in London shows that the intelligence service is winning

Unlikely to have made a difference. Gun ownership in US didn't stop Orlando nightclub shooting, San Bernardino attack, Boston bombers, etc.

Does not mean that in every instance it would not, though...there's always a chance, depending on the individual situation

Only in Hollywood movies. In reality people just run for their lives. Guns in bars with drunks would no doubt lead to a lot more deaths.

You are overlooking the fact that people can be intensively trained in the defensive use of firearms admittedly most do not take this up tho

It doesn't matter how you train. Alcohol, dudes, ego, and competition for women are a terrible recipe to add guns too.

How about stop selling arms to known terrorist sympathisers and blaming those who just want tolerance and peace. Disgusting opportunism.
