If not taxpayer-funded, what other option is there? Logan's Run?

WOW! So it's glitzy real estate against doing the right thing for our senior citizens, those who can't take care of themselves anymore.

The right thing for our "senior citizens" is for families to step up and help take care of the elderly...

Assuming those elderly people have family or relatives living nearby. I know of a few widows with no children who also outlived relatives.

The aging population crisis will bankrupt this country. It's a train wreck. Answer is not taxpayer funded. But, 401k type savings incentive.

Most seniors that need Medicare nursing homes have worked minimum wage their whole lives.. no extra $ for a 401‼️

Not sure most is accurate but you make a good point. Elder care savings plan needs to fund care for the poor also. Like social security?
