Because maybe, just maybe, he was doing his job and building a case. That was his job after all...

Not if he's aware of obstruction. That needs to be reported immediately. Since it wasn't, well, we know the rest. Left loses, again.

        A) Nonsense. B) maybe he did report it. He has an entire investigation at hand. The Flynn memo is peanuts comparatively.

Probably to ensure the investigation would continue unimpeded. A trump appointee might look to curry favor w/ the target. #Independence

Because he knew Atty General Sessions would bury the investigation... Seems axiomatic to me

Because he's a "savage" as my 12-yr-old would say. He was holding on as long as he could because he knew Trump was corrupt.

No, the first question is still why was the President of the United States so casually using his influence to attempt to obstruct justice?

Yet to be proven, despite your presumed guilty charge. Comey has no more credibility than Trump here. Your opinion of Trump is irrelevant.

The FBI Director is a presidental appointee which means employment is at the will of the president. Comey himself acknowledges that fact.

Why should he have resigned? Maybe he figured Donald would be the one leaving.

If the bigger game was Russia, then Comey was duty bound to collect as much evidence as possible including instances like this.

I'm not a fan of James Comey but why should he have resigned? He was serving a 10 year term.
