Polls suggest a sweeping win for Moon Jae-in, who has said that South Korea needs to learn to say “no” to the U.S.http://on.wsj.com/2pridHp

Excellent. Let's agree South Korea is a sovereign nation and reduce our assets there and apply them here.

Those US radars including THAAD can't detect Chinese ICBM at launch if deployed in Japan or in the US. It is America's loss, but so what.

We can use satellites to do that. If we have a single point of failure in dependence on another country to protect us we need to fix it.

Other countries need to break their dependency on USA, and they are. Trump was the last straw.

We too need to ensure our way of life is not overly dependent on others. Good for all. Change is good. Still friends but less dependency!

That's like saying no business should depend on its customers.

Maybe I am not saying it right. If a sovereign nation says they no longer want to be our customer we can still ask but not force.

There wouldn't be a SK to say "yes" or "no" if it weren't for the US.
