Nor should they be. As the pie grows, the deficits get smaller. So growing the pie is the priority.

-
Yea cause that's worked in the past so well.
-
Right. Grow the pie so execs can eat more of it. We've seen this before. We've been waiting 35 years for the last trickle down.
-
I remember that pie very well. Corps want more & more of that pie so they start taking bigger pieces. The result will be another recession.
-
As long as the execs and politicians can avoid being affected, I doubt recession matters much to them.
-
They depend and count on low information (ignorant & stupid) to peddle their Goldman Sachs bullshit
-
It's working.

The same people that they're trying to force to pay for that wall. The American taxpayers. It should be limited to the ones who voted for him

Good! Gotta take care of the corporations first. The Federal deficit and income inequality can wait until the next president

The idea being with less taxes to pay, the more money a corporation will have to hire workers
-
But with that being said, it's a shame real world economics don't work like text book economics. The trickle down effect is not that easy.
-
Let's call this what it is. A lie.
-
A goddamned lie! Corporations have more cash stashed than ever before. They have made more money paying less wages. And now a tax break???
-
Isn't that lovely. Corporate welfare while the people starve.
-
The US having the 3rd highest corporate tax rate is problematic for corporations staying in US.
-
Yeah sure. That line has been around for years. It was a lie then and even bigger one now, especially coming out of a small mouth liar.
