It strikes me that the US is more reticent. Here in UK, contactless support and understanding is widespread.

That said, I even now sometimes get comments when I pay with my phone or watch.

Though, I spent a month in Australia last year, and didn't use cash once. Phone everywhere, occasionally the card itself.

The US can't even figure out chip cards....let alone contactless payments. Technology moving as fast as the government

Started using it at the start of the year and it is way faster then using a chip card. That said I have seen only a couple other users.
