I am grateful that intelligence experts are taking responsibility to protect country. POTUS is the risk and Congress won't protect us.

POTUS is the CLEANER, that's why so many elites are afraid of him.

on some level I actually find this so relieving, at least someone is looking out for national security.
-
relieved anonymous unelected officials are making decisions on who is and who is not privy to information collected on
-
yep, people who are trained to evaluate security risks and have determined this is necessary to protect the nation
-
fair enough, who's overseeing those poeple? Or are they special people whom we trust regardless?
-
heck why have elections at all, let's just get these folks in to make all the decisions for us...
-
The administration has demonstrated a clear inability to protect information. He hasn't earned the trust of the public.
-
surely there's no greater measurement of trust than an election, which was won by the president so no. Invalid point.
-
Our institutions rely on legitimacy. And say what you will, DJT clearly hasn’t built that legitimacy w/ his staff.

I would say your organization always pride itself in good journalism. This is reckless and your sources are shameful traitors.

who're they the public servants to judge? We elected a president to represent us who they serve
-
yea, look how that worked during Obama administration when
@GOP created obstructionist government and bragged about it. -
not comparable as the senate and congress are indeed elected...
-
And the President wasn't? Obama won electoral and popular vote. Twice. And
@GOP refused to work with him. -
I.e the members of GOP who obstructed some of the things Obama was trying to do had a democratic mandate.
-
sincere question, do you think@GOP had democratic mandate to work with the President or set up "obstructionist government"?
-
the same thing will happen Trump when the mid term arrives and he didn't deliver on the bottomline.
-
you're knowledgeable and a pleasure to have conversation with, thanks. Unfortunately, have to get to work.
