        Have to say that my handwriting - especially cursive - has gone down hill in recent years. Hardly write anything by hand anymore

        I would add one suggestion: find stationary that YOU like..fancy word for paper. use a pen you like..in ink you buy, sealed w stamps..

        give your eyes and fingers and keys a break... get to know your post office worker...have him/her show you ALL stamps... go slow (er).
