I blame @comcast
"I want to watch _________ but I don't want to pay for 500 channels I don't watch"
@CPbike @comcast told me that I am stealing channels that I paid for. Started using antenna n not going back. #encryption #cordcut

@WSJ I'd be curious to see the correlating internet/digital growth during the same time frame.
@WSJ The day will always have only 24 hours, and there is far too much "me too" programming. Infinite growth not achievable.
@WSJ Sounds like a good thing to me. Way too many channels that make people think they are important
@WSJ I "I shaved from $188 per month to $80, turned off landline, only basic cable and Internet. Use Netflix and Amazon w/ RoKu.
Why? “@WSJ: Biggest U.S. cable-TV channels are experiencing a troubling trend: 'cord-shaving' http://on.wsj.com/1o2qTmr pic.twitter.com/dAUTCRVE3o”
@WSJ @Ripclawe I've replaced my TV watching with apps like Viki, Drama Fever, & Crunchy Roll and watch Taiwanese & Korean dramas directly.
@WSJ @Ripclawe I stopped watching U.S. TV altogether abt 4 yrs ago. My son now uses the big screen in the livingroom 4 his comp monitor.
@WSJ I'd add a few channels a la cart, but TWC never has offered that option. Their loss. <3 PBS World, Youtube, & Amazon= cheaper :D.
@WSJ
WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD RESOLVE THIS ISSUE
@WSJ cut the cord last yr due to cost & awful content of shows/commercials. Never looked back. #goodbyeTV
@WSJ I had almost all these channels for free. Now I have cable and they still want me 2 pay extra for these called basic channels.

@WSJ It's a joke. If/when in a fiancially difficult situation, tv is first "luxury" to go. It may go anyways just for principal of prices.
