@WSJ @smartvalueblog Nam Veteran here
@WSJ I'm surprised!
@WSJ I would love to see the comparison in the numbers of civilians killed during each war!!!
@WSJ @donotforget911 our Veterans deserve our respect -- they earned it with blood, sweat and tears. Our so-called leaders? Not so much.
@WSJ Korean conflict has passed more than 60 yrs,and gulf war changed the style of the war,didn't need so many soldiers as before
@WSJ we give lip service to vets. Every1 says "support the troops" but only so long as it doesn't inconvenience them. #SupportOurTroops
@WSJ pretty revealing that gulf war era, despite being longer period, was carried out w/far fewer people. Demands on ea individual increase.
@WSJ and the Vietnam vets seem to be the least appreciated because it was such an unpopular war.
@WSJ This wrong on many levels: how many of the Vietnam-era veterans served there vs. Germany, US, elsewhere? Gulf-era, so from 1990?
@WSJ nam vet here. 45 yrs ago. Whew.
@WSJ an all volunteer military makes up the 2nd place Gulf War era, that's impressive as well
@WSJ Their Dads, Moms, Wives, Children, Siblings prayed 4 their safety & now have 2 fight th government that sent them 2 war is disgraceful!
