@WSJ American Airlines & USAirways, which merged, are selling seats on each other's planes at very different prices. http://on.wsj.com/1ot2q82 -
@flyidca I noticed this the other day pricing DCA to SRQ and TPA. This merger is not good for USAirways prices too, they're up. And AA is $$ -
@dy7764 yea, not a surprise. Merger hasn't helped consumers at all. Just higher fees and less competition. -
@flyidca Do you think Frontier and its cheaper fares are going to help prices go down? -
@dy7764 problem with frontier is that they are like spirit, everything is a la carte. Pretty soon $$ for seatbelts, life jackets and oxygen -
@flyidca Ugh good to know. Was thinking of using them for Thanksgiving week. -
@dy7764 prices on frontier are generally cheaper, but just keep in mind the extra fees for overhead bin space, seating, etc. -
@flyidca Thanks! Good advice, will follow it!
