@WSJ I'd figured my NYC 45 min commute each way was = to working 9.375 weeks/year - more than 2 months - for free. -
@revjaydub Jeez, I'd hate to add up my almost 2 hour former commute door to door from Westchester to NYC. -
@DJNoRequest Each way? Dayum. That's giving away a free day for every two you work. Plus gas, tolls, depreciation and maintenance. -
@revjaydub fortunately it was only a 4 mile drive to the train station, then into grand central, where i'd walk an additional half hour. -
@DJNoRequest Thank goodness for the bar car.

@DawnReidPM LOVED my commute to New York City (45 mins). Opened laptop by 7am, prepared for the day. Got tons of certification study done.

@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia Funny... I'm happier at this job even though the commute is longer. It's because I get to take the train. -
@BookwrmS@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia depends on how full the train usually is, too. -
@Nirual86@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia nah, I can almost always get a seat. -
@BookwrmS@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia same here but its much easier to relax when you have some room, at least for me. -
@Nirual86@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia Sure... if there's a soccer match or the fest, it can be annoying to sit with all the drunks. -
@Nirual86@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia but that's not really an issue on my daily commute. -
@BookwrmS@yadretigress@WSJ@lupinia well on my temp job last week I had to deal with school-children for parts of it...
