Am remembering my 1960s high school job at Sears Package Pickup at the Bay Shore Mall.

I admire the determination Sears has exhibited over the last decade, trying to state afloat, but it's over and has been for some time. It's sad, but there is just no place for Sears anymore.

Sears is an American icon. Banks are greedy.

I loved the Sears Christmas Catalog. and if it wasn’t for the regular catalog, my grandparents would have had to rely on just corncobs in the outhouse growing up. Guess it’s fitting the banks are wiping their asses with Sears.

Walmart inventory is greatly inferior to Sears' products in Canada. Depriving Sears employees of hard earned pensions when executives got bonuses and stock options paid out was unconscionable.

Sears has really gone down hill since I was a kid. I guess the internet and the mega retailers like Walmart have done them in.

This is sad. I like Sears and it employees many Americans.
