It's because we keep factoring in the economics that we don't make any progress. But carbon, and the environment as a whole, is the hidden cost we haven't been factoring into the cost of energy and production. It's a debt we've been building and eventually the bill will come due.

A good article. We should use sustainability principles embedded in all our environmental regulations to drive the best approach. Economic and social impacts must be considered to arrive at the best solution to climate change.

Green energy investments means GREEN MONEY 💰 you fools!!!! Solar panels would make Africa very wealthy beside mining ⛏ everything....and would give work, food and decent living, housing , infrastructure to all the countries.

“Switching to more expensive, less efficient technology slows development. In poor nations that means fewer people lifted out of poverty. In rich ones it means the most vulnerable are hit by higher energy bills.” It’s inhumane to ignore that important fact.

The UN's demands would cost more lives than doing nothing to "stop climate change".

I love elite liberals like Clintons, fFacebook, Twitter, google, Silicon Valley, Pelosi, Feinstein, etc all want to sign up our country for climate change taxes. But those mentioned each use 100 times more oil than the average family-they guzzle oil

A horrifying, reductionist take on the subject... If that's what economics is all about, count me out...

people who know the cost of everything and the value of nothing, and are crazy enough to think that MONEY IS REAL..... we could fix this any time we wanted, if we had the will, the imagination, would let go of fucked up paradigms... but hey, lets all go extinct instead
