I'm old enough to remember when it was called Napster and Lime Wire. And it took forever to download one song thanks to dial up internet.

But you left out Kazaa which was before lime wire
-
Hahaha, YES and thank you! Was talking to my fiancee about that yesterday and she couldn't remember the name of it either. I said I thought it was "Kazaam" so I was pretty close.
-
I got good use out of Kazaa, never really used lime wire because I got into other bit torrent prisons that weren't full of malware and viruses.

I remember when people used to tape songs played on the radio with their cassette players. People having been "stealing music" for years just people are using better technology these days.

Yeah, because the RIAA has utterly refused to even attempt to join the rest of the digital age. They use draconian licensing schemes that make it prohibitively expensive to offer music services, and some people just want the damn songs. Not to mention most music isn't worth $$.
