Tell you what, let’s delay the midterms until after this is settled so that voters have all the data needed to cast an informed vote. Either their congressman is a phony who just wants to play politics with our lives or there was something there. That would settle this quickly.

What can they investigate? She doesn’t know where or when. The man she said was there has said he wasn’t. Doesn’t remember how she went or got home. Trust me, I had an incident at 14, I’m now 64, and my memory of it is clear.

How about asking if Kavanaugh is willing to take a polygraph test like Dr. Blasey has done?

Why? They are not admissable as evidence in any court. Also, why did she take a polygraph in August if she never had the intention of coming forward? What worsens were asked? Where are the results? Shady AF.

This is a cynical ploy by people who flew top cover for Bill Clinton. What a joke. FBI passed on this. Not a federal matter. Also - Ford is lying.

This smelled bad in the beginning. Now it stinks. It's 100% political. I used to have a modicum of respect to Feistein, now it's disgust. Get on with the vote and get Kavanaugh appointed to SCOTUS.

The FBI will not investigate something that doesn't involve Federal law. And they certainly won't investigate something that is well beyond the Statute of Limitations.

The FBI has previously vetted Kavanaugh at least 6 times. Investigating an unsupported accusation with no evidence is a waste of time and money.

It actually says a lot about the situation. Logically, her saying no to a Monday hearing very likely means the GOP will just push it aside. Yet, the Democrats are fully supportive of her position. If this was JUST about keeping out the GOP Justice, they'd be turning on her.

Also, this is nowhere near the purview if the FBI. They investigate federal crimes, or crimes that span several states, and Ford's lawyers know this. Next step is the Dems to call foul that the FBI won't investigate, but they already know that they won't.
