Republicans hoping to prevent Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual-assault accusations against Brett Kavanaugh from derailing his Supreme Court nomination are trying to do so without alienating voters sympathetic to her story, particularly womenhttps://on.wsj.com/2D71s0r

Almost every woman is familiar with this sort of aggressive entitled behavior. Be it a random ass/boob grab, or full blown sexual assault (I’ve experienced both). We are also familiar with the men who choose to dismiss it. And we WILL judge them for that.

If they do NOT investigate Professor Ford's allegations against Kavanaugh in a fair, thorough & non-partisan, independent way, they can kiss their seats goodbye. We (women) won't stand for it. Kavanaugh is hopelessly flawed.

Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony could be devastating for Brett Kavanaugh: highly embarrassing and strongly suggesting that he's lied. Game over - withdraw.

It’s not your, or anyone else’s, RIGHT to this information. But, now she’s been forced forward (which I disagree with) we need to hear her story. Perhaps this fine gentleman shouldn’t have tried to rape a 15 year old girl. That sort of violent behavior doesn’t change with age.

I’m assuming that’s what’s happening. They will both sit in front of other humans and provide their story. We will be able to view verbals and non-verbals. E will be able to make those judgements, as will the judiciary committee.

Sure, people lie. It happens. And you’re right, it can be hard to determine who to believe. Which is why we will hear from both of them. Maybe Kavanaugh can take a lie detector test. (Though I’m not 100% sold on them)
