Oh no! The only people allowed in the club -- er, Board -- are RICH. We can't have working people. They'll just try to make things a little fairer...for the workers who make our money for us!

Norway has the same principle - employees always have some seats in the boards - though not 40%. This makes decissions in the boards better.

Germany does it and their economy seems to be doing fine. I don’t know, maybe the employees might actually have some ideas on how to manage the company.

Similar to Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren couldn't successfully run a lemonade stand. So now she has expertise on the optimal composition of a corporate board of directors?

That’s a great idea. It would be better if well-governed companies came to that conclusion on their own.

Why not? They are vested in seeing the company succeed.

Her logic is like most liberals believe that companies are the enemy

Companies that behave in bad ways should rightfully be criticized. But in cases where that company may be the only work available, what is a worker gonna do? I guess kiss the ring, huh? So much for the Declaration of Independence ;)

Probably to Germany 🇩🇪 where the employees do have seats in the equivalent of the board. Good or base, I don’t know, but it does help represent employees and have their voices heard
