If he does this it will be a massive betrayal of the persecuted Church in China.

That's why I am confused. I thought the Christians were being persecuted and ostracized in China. But the government is still going to allow Catholicism? That would demonstrate who's REAL and who is counterfeit.

It's the faithful Catholic poor of China who will suffer the consequences of state control over them. The government will not suffer a Catholic who puts God before the needs of The Party.pic.twitter.com/N2RfK7ucW8

        以前大陆穷,就和台湾搞关系;现在台湾不行了,又开始找大陆了。或许这就是上帝的指示吧😊

So, Excommunicated Chinese bishops had no worth UNTIL the Vatican's filth was exposed, cutting into their profits. This is Not religion--it's Politics & Greed.

How could the Pope allow an atheist government to have the final say on Catholic doctrine? What about the underground Catholics in China who supported the True Church?

Holy See-China rapprochement: Depending on degree of say given to the Chinese Gov., possibly a violation of the letter of the CCC (377-5) and of spirit of Vat. II (Decree on Bishops par. 20, Gaudium et Spes, par. 41-44, 74-76). Wording matters greatly #HolySee #China #Diplomacy
