Had a 1973 Bug that I drove until bottom rusted out from under me. Was only car in our apt building that started in when weather hit 50degree below zero with windchill! Some days I wish I still had that car!

Did the heater work though?

Not once it rusted through
That is what finally pushed me to buy new car-seeing frosty breaths from my 1 year old son. If it wasn’t for him I’d have held out for at least another year
I sold it to neighbor’s teenage son who drove it I think another 4 yearspic.twitter.com/KuDJ7lF5dI

This is a sad day. I bought my first Beetle a 1969 Convertible in 1971 and hit until 1978. Moving through various VW products from Audi to Bentley, I returned to a Beetle Convertible in 2007 and have been in one since. Today a Red 2017! May be my last car!pic.twitter.com/XBE7tAdDYY
