        Respectfully, there is very little about religion that is new in Christianity. Most of their concepts are recycled or repurposed.

        Nicholas V did give occupants of Constantinople the option of Catholicism to confess their sins so they would be forgiven for they were asking for supplies because of an approaching enemy. Enemy possibly wanted pay back for occupants in the past defending the Ancient Greeks.
