It’s time to move on. They’ve had a good run, but we have better choices now. It’s time we lead the world again in new technologies.

So, to all of the CA haters posting on the WSJ - what are you and your state doing to prepare for the future? My guess is nothing! You are happy with yesterday's energy, yesterday's cars, and yesterday's politicians.

FUN FACT WARNING: Inconvenient for haters... California’s economy is fifth largest economy in the world of $2.7 trillion sits behind the United States, China, Japan and Germany.

After totally mismanaging the water supply infrastructure making things worse during severe drought, and rigidly enforcing environ"mental" policies that caused all of the forests to burn down, now Liberals want to fix electricity.

Don’t they hate nuclear too? That’s about the only efficient major effective power source without fossil fuels.

Go for it. If he makes it, let them shut California off, otherwise this fossil (Brown) should be put out to pasture. It really would be interesting to see how long citizens would put up with it, or companies would survive. Make sure Facebook, and the rest don't get special deals.

What are the odds of the WSJ releasing a pro fossil fuel editorial on the same day the Koch brothers launch their super PAC?🤔🙄

All these alternatives are less efficient than fossil fuels. We should probably make sure we’re able to continue producing enough energy before doing away with oil all together, or shit is going to get really expensive.

That’s why the proposed plan was incremental to gradually be effective in the next ten to twenty years period.

Their electric bills have risen 25% since 2013 due to alternative energy. If I lived in Cali it would piss me off that they only plan to make this worse. I love green energy but it’s expensive.

25% must be negative direction The number of home owners in CA putting solar panels on their roofs is getting higher every year by 3%
