Here we go again. The Democrat rallying cry: Race, racist, racism! What YOU don’t get is that the problem is not with his message, it’s with the manner in which he wishes to express it.

The manner of protest was suggested by a Veteran. The majority of Veterans I know support his right to protest in that manner, even if some of them don't agree with his position. It wasn't about the flag, others made it about the flag.pic.twitter.com/ppZCOUZ41w

Well, I guess everyone sees it the way they want to. My father was a WWII veteran,Purple Heart recipient, and a true patriot, and I know he would have been very unhappy with this. And so is my son in law who did two tours in Iraq. I will ALWAYS stand for them and our country!

Both of my grandfather's are WWII vets, Purple Heart recipients, and true patriots. Thankfully, one of them is still with us. I asked him this summer. He didn't agree with the reason, but he supported the right. Lifetime Republican too.pic.twitter.com/Nk5vW02iTR

Your grandfather earned the right to his opinion. Please thank him for his service, and may God bless the rest of his days. There is a special place in my heart for the “Greatest Generation”. Hope he has/had a chance to go on an Honor Flight. My dad was so touched by it.😊

I appreciate your kind words and I will share them with him. He can't fly due to one of the wounds he received a Purple Heart for. He was shot in the left lung rescuing a fellow soldier who was hung up on a branch and pinned down by gunfire.

My dad was shot in the neck by a sniper, and pulled to safety by his sergeant. I’m sure you enjoyed hearing your grandfathers’ stories as much as my kids did.😊 Nice having a respectful conversation on here. Thank you.😊

There is a time and place and during the Anthem is/wasn't appropriate especially when they can call a press conference 24/7 to promote their causes. Didn't hear much during the off-season...

No one kneeled during this season’s @NFL opener b/c it’s bad business. Ratings are down. People are turned off. But also b/c while police brutality certainly exists, kneeling during the anthem isn’t the answer. One has nothing to do w/another.
