? If there is job loss, how will tariffs fix that? Most jobs lost are due to much cheaper labour, and automation. Simply provide a UBI or a universal jobs program, rather than dealing with corporations to affect the lives of regular people.

Two: US consumers can stop buying useless things from China at huge markups. The same goods in China might cost a tenth of what you pay in the US. Therefore, the tariffs make no difference. Companies making large profits can simply maintain the same prices. No harm to consumers.

They don't disproportionately hurt Apple or US consumers. One: Many Chinese people don't buy apple for any tech benefits. It is just the name. Hence, this allows companies to compete on their products, which is good.

Hurt Apple? A 1 trillion dollar company? And consumers because you raise the price that was already sky high before the tariffs? .... Make no sense to search for a scape goat 🤔

Apple can handle the temporary inconvenience. Have products manufactured in US. That’s a thought.
