The problem is they cannot find qualified employees who will work for low wages.

What they have trouble finding are people willing to work for low wages. There are plenty of unemployed qualified & competent candidates - but their knowledge & expertise cost money managers are not willing to pay.

Wrong. Despite rhetoric to the contrary wages are in fact rising. And what your narrative fails to consider is the reality of business. Workers who can bring value are in an incredible position to negotiate, and good on them they take advantage but crying no tears if they don’t.

LOL On which planet do you live? For most the average wage increase is under $10/paycheck. Cost of living increased more than 3%. And no, wages are negotiable only for union workers and for higher earning positions. Everyone else has a fixed wage at the time of job announcement.

Wage gains this year have been highest in 10 years. That is indeed a fact. And you’re absolutely wrong that negotiating power only rests with high-end workers. Quit reading Democrat talking points and take advantage of this time, strike now man.https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/31/worker-pay-rate-hits-highest-level-since-2008.html …

We need to be wary of inflation, but we’re at 2.4% this year, compared to 2.8% wage growth. But again, consider the opportunities in the present. Workers need to understand they have the negotiating power at the moment. That window won’t last, but it’s here now.

Cost of living has increased more than 3%. Inflation combined with the cost of living increases: higher healthcare costs, higher rents, gas prices, childcare, food... you do the math.

Apparently your entire reason for being is to craft a political narrative, which is sad, because you’re missing that we are in a unique position for people to make upward movements in their life. But then, I imagine that would be counter-intuitive to your ideological goals.

You have no facts so you resort to ad hominem attacks. Btw the 'upward movements' in this country are at one of the lowest rates since the WW2. People are working 2-3 jobs just to survive, unions are attacked & rendered less effective by state laws etc.
