The conditions for boost in free economy are China stop at currency manipulation and one side trade surplus and military build up. Otherwise, there will be a long term pain in exchange for short term relief.

but it’s not free exchange when other countries put tariffs on us - that’s what Trinp is pushing back on - the US economy is the largest & strongest - we shouldn’t be penalized for that!

so, it's merely a matter of opinion? here I was thinking there was data to back it all up, when all we need to carry the day is 51%.

let’s put the opinion of tariffs in general aside and answer one question: if other countries apply tariffs on our products should we not apply tariffs on their products? Yes or no? All I ask is that it be fair trade. Either no tariffs or the same tariffs pick one.
