As a barely left of center Democrat who harbors no love for the rabid extremes of either side, and as a person who nevertheless reads from all sides to be aware of what's out there ... this is what I'm observing: 1/

The far right is being shut down, but reopening accounts as quickly as they're closed. The far left is sanctioned if, and only if, they issue threats. Extremist accounts held by Facebook & Twitter users in the Middle East and Latin America thrive. They are rarely shut down. 2

Why doesn't anyone ask about anti-American bias? Here is Sheryl Sandberg with hard-left activists Deray Mckesson, Blair Imani, Brittany Packnett, Sam White, & Samuel Sinyangwe to discuss “safety, activism, Russia, & a host of ideas about moving forward” in October last year.pic.twitter.com/7JEWNY3QWf

THe question is, who are they to censor free speech. Who is doing the censoring? They should be an independent bipartisan body that FB and Twitter should report to. CEOs and their personal opinions cannot be the determining factor.
