Not failed. He never got a hearing because republicans don’t care about the constitution. They want laissez-faire for business and Christian fundamentalism for social issues.

Garland nomination failure was among a list of Obama failures. Failure. It's the culture of Democrats. #shouldbeusedtoit

No Democrat wanted Garland They did not pick a flamethrower and fight for them. Schumer slept through the whole thing his reading glasses sliding down his nose.

The Democratic Party is delusion. Quite simply, their self regard has driven them mad.

Interesting headline. Did the nomination fail? Or was a time-honored process subverted?

DEMS are more likely fired up about the prospect of PresTrump's reelection in 2020 and his appointment of another Constitutionalist to the SCOTUS!

It wasn't as failed nomination, the Senate didn't hold hearings & vote his nom. down. The GOP Senate refused to even hold hearings. It was a blocked nomination. And Dems are fighting bec. Kavanaugh has not been properly vetted, much of his paper trail has been made off limits

Dems played their hand with the "Biden rule". Dems lost that hand and the jackpot in 2016. Can't cry over spilt "votes"? Mish macan
