Students don’t just turn to M.B.A. rankings to find the best school. They also are key to calculating the payoff—and risk—of a pricey business degreehttps://on.wsj.com/2LZfGzx

Calculating the value of a college education is a sham! Most of my extraordinarily successful daughter's classmates got jobs because of their family's wealth and influence not the education they received. This pauper's princess earned it!

Some of these top programs cost $150K+ not even including room and board. It would be very difficult to justify that expense unless you know you will be making that back.

MBAs are becoming meaningless. Everyone has them and most programs teach Keynesian economics, which is why MBA students so readily defend the Fed and fiat currency.

I thought the companies were paying for their top employees MBAs ?? If you have to finance your own MBA it's probably a losing bet...

Everything in America is "buyer beware". Rankings are just 1 data point. Research professors, alumni, facilities, and do your own cost analysis.

FINALLY! 🙄 “The US Dept of Education proposed new rules last month that would require universities to disclose average salaries & debt for every program they offer. Only for-profit institutions are now required to collect & share that level of detail.”

It’s a scandal in itself that student debt has QUADRUPLED since 2005. Just like Fannie & Freddie perpetuated the housing crisis, Gov’t lending has created yet another bubble, but this one isn’t on a tangible asset, & universities have exacerbated it.pic.twitter.com/xKduSNXSIS
