Wishing Mr. Kaepernick great success on his law suit against the NFL. Corporations cannot silence citizens.

Yes because political speech is protected in the work place. Feel free to test that theory out at your place work. Amazing how many idiots forget athletes are employees and that games are their place of employment...

Actually, they work by contract. So not employees, but bound by the terms of the contract. EG: why Netflix still had to pay actors it fired before series ended due to scandals.

No. It's a contractor relationship. There are clear reasons why a contract will be rescinded or otherwise terminated, they are outlined in said contract. Contracts are law among the parties. Adding new restraints that aren't part of the contract can be considered a willful breach.

Punchline: Employees tend to not have rights. Contractors are their own bosses/business and have more rights because they negotiated them.

I don't think you are right. Example: NFL has a dress code policy, the player is bound to that policy regardless of what is in their contract.

I don't think you're wrong about that. And we can keep adding variables to the pot. That raises a possible question, then, can people change policies to prohibit certain conduct, after the fact, and then not incur in some type of liability. Many moving parts.

This is just an attempt for nike to get millenials back from adidas. Adidas has been killing them and they were desperate. The risk is every american who lived through 9/11 respects the the flag, the american anthem and what it represents. Apology over under?
