Everyone should be open to an honest discourse. How do you strengthen your beliefs without listening to other opinions?

In general, Stephen, I totally agree with you. That being said, however, Bannon's brand of white nationalism and nazism is a bridge too far for me. My grandfather fought in WW2 to stop those guys the first time. Not doing it again.

Isn't it better to confront those guys in an open exchange of ideas rather than to let them grow strength in the shadows?

It’s not the “conservatives” part they have a problem with, it’s the white-supremacy/neo-nazi part they have a problem with. This kind of insinuation just perpetuates the hate. Come on WSJ you’re better than this

@JamesDoss50 @Chadwick_Moore I call Bullshit! Name one thing that Steve Bannon said or did that makes him a racist or Nai sympathizer! He served our country and he’s off the charts brilliant, but again, tell me what he’s done that makes him evil!

Wrong. Steve Bannon is not a conservative. He's a hyper-toxic, weaponized, opportunist, unapologetic white supremacist. The very, very worst we have to offer as a country. Odd that @WSJ would consider Bannon, of all people, "conservative."
