        That's a bit unfair an old-fashioned. What makes a man the one to have to pay no matter what for having a date with you? Nothing. If you expect the unexpectable, expect the guy to expect things you don't want too.

        Well when it comes to relationships that's where I'm "old fashioned " and my husband always preferred to be the one to pay. So it was and is a mutual understanding between us. That's just me, otherwise I do agree with whatever floats ur boat and both r comfortable with. 😄

        Yep, totally agree with you. It's hard to find that agreement though when you're first dating, isn't it? However, I believe that in The States (are you based there) things are a bit more classical. And whwn and e is done with no ulterior intention then is fine :)
