Theological disagreements have seldom before been so openly displayed as toward a letter accusing Pope Francis and other Catholic officials of covering up sexual abusehttps://on.wsj.com/2PX5tXF

it is not just sexual abuse. It is 80% homosexual abuse!

Regarding the conflict over sexuality and child sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church, maybe they are looking, not at removing a Pope, but schism, like during the Reformation.

Because all know allegations are true. Believable after all the things Francis has made and not answered all the dubia, the infamous Amoris Laetitia, his own ambiguity to sins like homosexuality.

Are the accusations true or not? Nothing else matters. Shameful of the MSM and some clerics to deflect from the real problem at hand.

This is an attempt ... by conservative cardinals and bishops who know that a conservative pope John Paul II ignored the molestation scanda ... to oust a liberal Pontiff ... this is despicable

Should not come as a surprise at a time when many in Catholic faith do not believe in the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist, half support abortions, and many don’t believe it takes 3 to marry, one man one woman and God

That is not the only type of abuse attributed to priests and nuns. It is Waaayy past time to allow priests to marry. Let them make the decision about celibacy and marriage. There is no Biblical teaching for mandatory celibacy on the part of clergy. Wake up!

speaking as secular jew, we should not forget all the good that catholic church does and has done to educate, and alleviate poverty and suffering. my own mother lives in a housing complex for retirees on fixed incomes run in part by the catholic church and I thank god for it.

Thank you very much for this acknowledgement Elliot, but as a Catholic I tell you that the fact that we do good in other things does not diminish our responsibility in this. One does not justify the other. The filth must be cleaned.
