Unfair to the white man who wants his vote to count more than a single vote? That isn’t how fairness works.

Stop with the “white man” crap. It’s an easy go to but it makes you sound stupid, as a white person. White men make up less than 31% of the population. If 50% of the are Democrats, they control 15% of the electorate. Find someone else to blame. Bernie and Soros are white men

For some reason, I don’t think Motown Boy is your real name. I’ll stand by my assessment seeing as I know what these particular lawmakers look like. Especially the one named in the headline. Unless you’re telling me Trump was born in Kenya...

No I just love Motown music! I am a white male. The gerrymandering is awful and Trump is a toad for tweeting about it. I was speaking of the ease with which everything is pinned on white males. If you can’t fix your own problems, easier to blame someone else, right?

If you look at the NC demographics, this is all about white conservatives. It reduces the voice of the black voters. Which is exactly why it lost in court. Because it literally disenfranchises black NC voters.

I agree 100%. Both sides have used the practice over the years depending on the party in power but N.C. has a terrible history on many fronts.

That’s okay. The entire nation thinks there is something wrong with @realDonaldTrump, so I guess it’s a trade off.

        As a North Carolinian, I beg to differ. In a 50/50 state is shouldn't be 7 R and 3 D districts

Yes. It took too long to prove that Republicans had completely rigged the districts to stay in power. Now that they’ve been caught they are suddenly concerned about “fairness”

Pres Trump should sign Executive Order declaring Court legislating from bench a violation of Constitutional Separation of Powers + nullify each ruling pending completion of appeal process. Not as overreaching as Pres Obama's DACA.
