What about IMF's estimates of GDP growth then? Are they too influenced by GOI?

Base year was low GDP. So not surprising. Would be good if something like US. But good to see India and Brazil doing well.

US has less population comparing to india....the taxpayers of there is 98.4% of the total population...but in India there is only 2% taxpayers of the total population. Think yourself which country would be developed.

Harder to grow at a high rate for developed country. Despite that US is trampling everyone. Developing countries grow at faster rate because easy to grow from 1 to 2 than 100 to 200. Same happened here aa comparator low. What's so hard to understand here?

This Comparison 1 to 2 and 100 to 200 is completely irrational. It's correct that USA has a larger economy but so does China even then it continues to grow at a strong pace.
