A good start, but Japan needs much more. First the F35b for the Izumo and Kaga. Second, a full deck aircraft carrier. Third, a bomber, Fourth, Icbms.

All countries are threat because they are being run by human beings. Countries change their governments and bombs can be sent in any direction. The USA now has a president who is evil and many friendly nations view him as the enemy of free nations.

Mostly US systems anyway Abe has been gunning to incr spending 4 defence for YRS and this is a smart way to help avert trade tensions w the US. Win win for Abe in this regard.

Lets supply another country with weapons so one day they can use our own weapons against us. When will our leaders ever learn. Why do so many Americans have to die so our greedy politicians can make money. We need peace not war and destruction.

Under pressure from Trump is a bit misleading. When I was in Tokyo recently & met w govt officials it was clear PM Abe sees the incr in JPN defence spending to abt 2pc as a means to allow him to cut into the huge trade surplus by purch more US weapons n hardware. Japan uses
