While McCain spent over 30 years in the senate his compromises got us to $22T in debt, entitlement programs that are bankrupting us, a federal govt that has grown precipitously, and never ending military engagements.

Compromise is a two way street, and shouldn't mean caving in to stupid demands

Right now we don’t. But it’s BOTH sides that don’t want to. Period. Since Gore’s loss to Bush & the ‘hanging chad’ fiasco this country has not been the same. Each side refuses to recognize the other. It is ugly but time changes things and compromise will come around again.

Sorry, I loved McCain for his views on military and rogue despots…..but he isn’t high on my list of compromisers. Sorry. RIP

there are times yes you can compromise, but never with evil. Some times that answer should be a resounding NO.

Politicians are now paid not to compromise. Koch Brothers, Soros and Steyer fund a campaign but demand no compromise.
