President Trump claims to be putting us on a "fiscally sound" track. How is that possible with the kind of tax cut he and the Republican Congress pushed through. It's like taking a second mortgage you can't afford. You will pay later and so will your children and grandchildren

WSJ front page today Corporate Profits at All Time Record due to tax cuts. Oh, by the way, now we have to freeze federal workers’ pay because of budget constraints. Zero Sum Game.

Public workers get paid far more than their private sector counterparts, and perform at a lower standard. They should be lucky their pay isn't being lowered! They're mooching off the taxpayer.

This statement is false in every respect. The largest gov employer is DOD. These people are working to support the troops and keep the country safe, making far less than in the private sector, and have higher ethical standards than the private sector.

@realDonaldTrump why not increase the corporation tax by 1% (25 to 26 %) and you will have no STRAINED #budget problem

how about removing underperforming govt workers and reward the high performers? Raising taxes to feed the beast isn't the solution. Corp tax rates is 21% btw.

That’s what happens when you have a massive tax cut, bailout farmers over a self-inflicted tariff war and give the military more money.
