Betsy DeVos has likened the campus processes used to adjudicate sexual assault to “kangaroo courts”https://on.wsj.com/2PMDYQB

NOTE: She’s not advocating campus sexual assault. OBVIOUSLY. She is saying that the adjudication process on many campuses falls short of fair and operates in a presumption of guilt on the part of the accused.

This is disgusting. @BetsyDeVosED is your goal when you wake up to find the most destructive thing you can do to reverse any progress this country has been able to make with regards to education? This is abhorrent and a complete slap in the face to victims of sexual assault.

If Title IX cases are kangaroo courts then Title VI cases (race & ethnicity) are too. Title IX & Title VI are coequal civil rights laws. Title VI cases often lead to quick expulsion, w/far fewer rights for accused students than Title IX. Why aren’t Title VI cases objectionable?

That’s the answer. Protect the rapists? We can do a lot better than what this fool’s proposing.

Protecting the accused. Fixed it for you, though I'm sure you don't actually care; you don't seem like the type to care about civil rights

It is why should a college investigate sexual abuse and not the police. It is after all an alleged crime.

She's right. Why don't the accused have the right of due process? Female accusers aren't above lying just because they're female.

Every male must never forget the "Mattress" girl. She alone hurt the male population more than Harvey me2. N.C. LaCrosse players is another finger pointed at the masculinity necessary to preserve Freedom. Without real man there are no women period! Put that fact in your pipe!

@BetsyDeVosED why, so white men can be allowed to rape unconscious women? If you're boosting the rights of the accused, you don't support the victim! Did #dontsayhisname tell you women are to be used for mans pleasure?
