I hear California is also considering a corporate board mandate for at least one LGBTQ, one unauthorized immigrant and one extraterrestrial.

I wonder how they're going to decide if a board member is a man or a woman. What if a board has all 'male' members, but some of them claim to be 'female'? Is that still a violation? If so, they don't seem to uphold LGBTQ rights. If not, then it's obviously a loophole.

...and men can "identify" as women. How do you think this is going to work? I told you before, ALL THIS nonsense is part of a larger strategy to cause chaos in our society so that chaos can be taken advantage of. Who doesn't see this?

Dumb. That’s sexism. As it states that women cannot succeed in meritocracy. The female athletes I coach find such laws/policies insulting. As do our minority student-athletes who see the bar lowered in the classroom in multiple categories to aid their achievement.

That's enforced discrimination. And other workers will look down on women as getting it cheap because of their gender. How about encouraging and supporting women to be elected into those posts!?

California just can't help but dictate everyone's life. What a sh*t hole state! Why would anyone live there? Super high tax, super high cost of living, and @NancyPelosi . The list goes on, but tweets are limited. Too limited for that sh*t hole. #California

What about racial quotas? Or sexual orientation guidelines?? Maybe a board should have mandated representation across age groups??? #stupidity #California

Giant sucking sound? So just because someone has a vagina they get a numerical quota? Nevermind experience, track record, social and organizational skills. IT HAS TO HAVE A VAGINA. What if no one applies that's qualified? & guess who's in charge of state oversight? Progressives

It's sad when legislation is needed to ensure a workplace is inclusive and reflects the general population. The old boys' club made this happen. They will also denigrate successful female hires as not "qualified" when they are. Note: #TransWomen are men.

so now this is what socialist govt looks like in real time. A govt forces private corporations to place employees in positions rather than let merit be a guiding cause. I get this is what socialism has always been about but do the young people who seem to embrace it now

If they want to play that card, then also mandate a demographically representative number of all genders in the CA legislature and all CA government jobs. Good luck reaching a legislative count of genders without omitting someone and being sued!
