        Yes from a reporter not a car exuctive . I spent 25 years working in the auto industry in can and the us if there is money to be made and market share to be gained they will still produce.

        So suddenly they manufacturers won't need to meet the average fuel mileage requirements? To meet those goals they have to sell high fuel mileage cars which are usually smaller and more fuel efficient.
