Orrrr that’s all made up and the SEC is investing him for the stock manipulation that he committed.

The fight with autocorrect is never ending. Smh. Clearly Apple is listening and wants to buy Tesla.

Musk didn’t change his mind. He was trying to hurt the shorts, and then made up a bunch of bullshit to keep from getting busted by the SEC. He needs to get busted by the SEC for stock manipulation, pure & simple.

I never post but this Orwellian backfilling dungpile of a piece got me angry enough to. If Mr. Murdoch wants to help his son so badly, he should get him off that board. Shame on Ms. Hoffman and Mr. Higgins for being complicit. Kudos to @CGrantWSJ for not putting his name on this.

What a shame the WSJ glamorized this storyline. EMusk committed securities fraud to squeeze the shorts and you gave him a pass. Another poster was correct, “what were the proposed terms!!!” That is newsworthy.

Volkswagen, which owns Audi and Porsche - with formidable EVs being released and an $82 bil market cap and 6 p/e was going with a $30 bil valuation on a company with only losses that they will crush - sure.

I think the lack of a credible bid for the company had something to do with his decision.

Notice that this @WSJ puff piece said nothing about the TERMS for the supposed $30 billion offer. My bet is that IF this offer existed, VW wanted full control and full ownership. After paying debt, that would imply a $TSLA equity value of $20 billion, or roughly $115 per share.
