The allegations would be extremely damaging to Pope Francis, who has been accused of not responding effectively to the church’s sex-abuse crisishttps://on.wsj.com/2wt9jil

That's the problem with this whole mess. They have all been complicit in it since the beginning. Every time a rock gets turned over more crawls out from under it. It is only a matter of time before the next one does. This is systemic and they need to cure it now, once and for all

We agree on something! Pope Francis should resign along with any others covering up these wrongdoings.

Don't mind at all agreeing on some things. Shouldn't take hell to freeze over for that to happen. Maybe there is a lesson there for everyone else.

This is getting habitual. Too much greed, too much self-righteousness (as if offenders not accountable to our courts), too much perversion in this 'church'. AND unfortunately, too much blind faith in man.

If true, Pope Francis, must resign as an enabler of predators. It’s hard to imagine Pope Francis is unaware of Chuch abuse in Vatican, So. America, USA.

This is nothing new. The church has known about this! Ashamed they did nothing, and acted only when they had to.

Horrible if Pope was aware of such sex scandals since 2013, What for he was waiting any court order to compelling action still lacking

That because of the statute of limitations. It's a stall tactic. To keep the priests out of prison and get to retire on Jeffrey Epstein's island.

1/2 Wikipedia: In 2014, Viganò ordered officials of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to end an investigation into sexual misconduct on the part of Archbishop John Nienstedt even after two auxiliary bishops explained that the investigation was far from complete.[14][15]
