He does not have blanket investigation power of anything and anyone he feels like. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The mandate include crimes discovered while investigating Putin's attacks. He coordinates with the Deputy AG. There is nothing for a law and order patriot to be upset about here.

There’s a tremendous amount for a law and order patriot to be upset about here. It’s just that none of it is the investigation or investigator. The subject and targets of the investigation, however, should furrow many a law and order brow.

The sad part for me is that I once believed Republicans were the Law and Order party. Obviously that was… not right. The most shocking part to me is that those who have been personally attacked by Trump (I’m thinking Cruz, Graham, Jeb) aren’t bigger Mueller cheerleaders.

I always knew Trump to be a degenerate, and have long considered most Republican politicals to be hypocrites on matters of fiscal policy, family values, and crime. But I never expected them to be such submissive weaklings in the face of an ignorant, talentless, bully.

Trump is worse than I would have expected. Congressional GOP have been ghosts though.

I've lived in NYC for 21 years now. I expected a terrible showing by Trump. I was actually surprised (and this demonstrates my own naivete) that the party which spent two years on Benghazi does no oversight. The death of Amb. Stevens was a tragedy. So's the Trump administration

Lifelong Republican Robert Mueller has it out for Republicans. 🙄 Just when you think Kim Strassel couldn’t be any dumber she has the audacity to claim the FBI treated Hillary investigation with “kid gloves” compared to Trump. Voters knew of only one investigation. Hillary’s.

He's following the specific mandate he was given. If there's any more to it, he'll hand it off when he's through. This is just defensive paranoia.

This is so dumb unless you believe that HRC conspired to meddle in the elections and engineer her own loss. Mueller is following his mandate.

By all means. Let's extend the scope of his investigation to all political parties. Root out foreign influence everywhere it exists. But the GOP is the first under the gun.
